Property Valuations

 

Residential property can be used as an investment in many different forms, be it for financial reason or family security. 

 

In the process of buying a house, a Mortgage may be required to secure the asset under offer. A Bank or Building Society can request a valuation report is obtained, usually using the services of a Charted Surveyor. There are however occasions where a Bank or Building Society is not involved and on these occasions a Private Residential Valuation may need to be considered. AJ Survey Ltd currently provides Residential Valuation Reports for both public and private sector markets.

AJ Survey Ltd works closely with Banks and Building Societies, providing professional advice on the property market and also providing written Residnetial Valuation Reports on a wide range of property values and styles. All our within the strict guidelines laid down by the Banks, Building Societies and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

AJ Survey Ltd can provide a Private Valuation Report, indepently of a Bank or Buliding Society Valuation Report. A Bank or Bulding Society will only use a Valuation Report to access the propety being values for security purposes.

Private Residential Valuation Reports can be used for a variety of purposes to include:

  • Shared ownership schemes

  • Cash purchasers

  • Housing Association Right to Buy

  • Government Key Worker Schemes

  • Relocation Schemes

  • Compulsory purchase

  • Probate

The Residential Valuation Report can be provided as a separate report or can be included as part of a Building Survey Report.*

Abound copy of the report and a separate paper copy are provided for you and your legal advisors; an electronic PDF version of the report can also be provided by email if requested.

*A separate negotiated fee will be required, for an additional Residential Valuation to be inclusive with a Building Survey Report.
